Indian Chief Bobber Dark Horse Exterior Details

The Indian Chief Bobber Dark Horse features the same drive train as the Super Chief and the Indian Chief Dark Horse. The Bobber shares a majority of its similarities with the latter. The major differences between the Indian Chief Bobber and the Indian Chief are their slightly different colour schemes, ergonomics, and the Bobber's single-seat look, although it can fit an optional dual seat. The Bobber gets a slightly more retro look completed with spoked rims and taller ape style handlebars.

Indian Chief Bobber Dark Horse Engine & Transmission

The Indian Chief Bobber Dark Horse gets the same engine powering it as the other two new launches in the lineup. The bike gets a BS6 emissions complaint 1890cc, air-cooled, twin-cylinder Thunderstroke engine that is good for roughly 162Nm of torque at 3200rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission. For safety, the bike gets dual-channel ABS.

Handling the Indian Chief Bobber Dark Horse are 46mm telescopic forks on the front that get Indian's stylised fork covers as well. The rear is supported by preload-adjustable dual shocks. Stopping the Bobber are 300mm discs on both ends. The bike gets 16-inch spoked rims on both ends with Pirelli Night Dragon tyres.

The Indian Chief Bobber Dark Horse, much like its siblings, gets quite a few features. The motorcycle gets LEDs front and rear. The Bobber also gets a rear cylinder deactivation function. Other features include cruise control and three rider modes and a USB charging port as well as a 12V charging port. Indian's Ride Command System can be accessed through the bike's 4-inch touchscreen display that can be set to show all sorts of information. The console is, of course, a Speedometer, Tachometer, Odometer, and also shows a fuel gauge. But the bike gets additional features through the display such as a compass, ambient temperature indicator, gear indicator and more. Bluetooth functionality includes phone and selected headset functions, vehicle status as well as call controls.
