Hop Electric LYF Exterior Details

The Hop Electric Lyf gets a conventional sporty scooter design. It gets sharp angles and an angled seat as well. The rear end features a pillion backrest paired with a sleek dual seat. The Hop Electric Lyf is rather heavy though at a kerb weight of 70-160kgs depending on the battery pack option selected.

Hop Electric LYF Engine & Transmission

The Hop Electric Lyf is powered by a 250W motor for the base variant and a 1200W motor in the standard and extended variants. These motors are paired to a 1.5kWh Lithium-ion battery on the base model and a 2.4kWh Lithium-ion battery on the standard variant. The top-end extended variant gets a dual battery setup, effectively giving it a range of 125km on a single full charge. The top-end Hop Electric Lyf Extended variant is capable of a top speed of 45kmph.

Hop Electric LYF Handling

Handling duties in the Hop Electric Lyf are given to front telescopic forks, paired with a dual shock setup on the rear end. The scooter is anchored by a disc/drum combination paired with 10-inch alloys on both ends. The scooter gets Electronically assisted ABS for safety, regenerative braking and a reverse gear as well.  

Hop Electric LYF Features

The Hop Electric Lyf is quite feature-loaded, giving it a premium feel that justifies its price point. Among its features is a complete LED lighting treatment front and rear complete with DRLs. The scooter gets a 17l under-seat storage. The display unit is a LED-backlit TFT LCD screen, that shows plenty of data. Electronic features include park assist, reverse gear, side stand sensor, USB charger, a remote key with keyless ignition and an Anti-Theft alarm. Optional Anti-Theft wheel locks are available as well. The display can be connected to a mobile app, and internet and GPS connectivity are also available in the scooter.

The Hop Electric Lyf gets three variants and four colours. The Hop Electric Lyf Basic, priced at ₹65500 (Ex-Showroom), Hop Electric Lyf Standard variant, priced at ₹74999 (Ex-Showroom) and the top end Hop Electric Lyf Extended, priced at ₹89999 (Ex-Showroom). The four colour schemes available are Cyan Blue, Royal Red, Matt Black and Earth Silver.
