This motorcycle is powered by a 1000cc liquid-cooled four-stroke engine having four inline cylinders with four valves per cylinder on a dual overhead camshaft. It has a compression ratio of 13:1 and puts out a maximum power of 215bhp at 14500 rpm and a peak torque of 113Nm at 12500 rpm. Further, this Honda superbike gets a PGM-DSFI carburation system, chain drive train, and six-speed transmission system accompanied by a wet, multi-plate clutch having a diaphragm spring with an assist slipper.

Additionally, this Honda motorcycle has a 330mm disc brake with a four-piston Brembo caliper in the front and a 220mm disc brake with a two-piston Brembo caliper in the rear.
