This motorcycle is powered by a 1000cc liquid-cooled four-stroke engine having four inline cylinders with four valves per cylinder on a dual overhead camshaft. It has a compression ratio of 13:1 and puts out a maximum power of 215bhp at 14500 rpm and a peak torque of 113Nm at 12500 rpm. Further, this Honda superbike gets a PGM-DSFI carburation system, chain drive train, and six-speed transmission system accompanied by a wet, multi-plate clutch having a diaphragm spring with an assist slipper.
The bike is built on an aluminium composite twin-spar frame, and has a telescopic inverted fork with an inner diameter of 43mm and Öhlins NPX Smart-EC with preload, compression, and rebound adjustment, in the front suspension. The rear suspension has a pro-link with a gas-charged Öhlins TTX36 Smart-EC damper featuring preload, compression, and rebound damping. The front suspension has a stroke of 125mm while the rear has 143mm. The wheels are of 17-inch with a front tyre of 120/70 - ZR17 size and a rear tyre of 200/55 - ZR17 size. Additionally, this Honda motorcycle has a 330mm disc brake with a four-piston Brembo caliper in the front and a 220mm disc brake with a two-piston Brembo caliper in the rear.
Looking at the dimensions, the bike measures 2100mm in length, 745mm in width, and 1140mm in height while the saddle height of the motorcycle is 830mm. it has a ground clearance of 115mm, a wheelbase of 1455mm, and a kerb weight of 201 kg.
