Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched a new Activa Limited Edition model at a starting price of Rs 80,734 (ex-showroom). This latest offering from the automaker is now available at all Honda Red Wing dealerships across the country, but only for a limited time period.
Initially released in 2001, the Honda Activa's 102cc engine helped propel the first generation vehicle into the Indian market. The Activa offered today is powered by the same 109cc engine that was installed in the scooter when the '2G' variant went on sale in 2009.
Honda has launched the new Activa Premium Edition in India. The scooter essentially comes with a host of cosmetic updates over the standard Activa 6G while retaining the core aspects.
The new Honda Activa 6G features a BS-VI compliant engine, while it also gets some major upgrade in terms of equipment, as it now comes with telescopic forks, 12-inch front wheel, engine start/stop, etc.
The Activa 6G will get a BS-VI compliant motor. Expect additional tech like Honda’s silent start/stop function, a feature-rich instrument cluster and some cosmetic changes. The Activa 6G will replace the Activa 5G.
