Hero Xpulse 200T Highlights
The Xpulse 200T is a road-biased version of the Xpulse 200. While the Xpulse 200’s dirt bike design is for those who like to go off the road, the Xpulse 200T is for those who prefer to stay on the tarmac. Interestingly, the Xpulse twins are the same under the skin in terms of platform and powertrain. So, what makes the Xpulse 200T different? The 200T has a lower stance, an added retro look that’s reminiscent of old standard bikes of the 80s, and alloy wheels shod with petite profile tyres. But it loses out on a windscreen and higher suspension travel.
Hero Xpulse 200T Exterior Details
The Xpulse 200T is a typical touring motorcycle that carries a retro design language, unlike the dirt bike design of the standard Xpulse 200. Dimensionally, the 200T is 2,120mm in length, 807mm in width, and 1,090mm in height. The bike has a ground clearance of 177mm, and it has a fuel holding capacity of 13 litres. The kerb weight of the 200T is 150kg. For detailed Hero Xpulse 200T images, you can click on the images section above.
Hero Xpulse 200T Engine & Transmission
The Hero Xpulse 200T has a 200cc single-cylinder air-cooled mill that pushes out 18.1bhp and 17.1Nm of torque. The engine responds well to brisk throttle inputs, and the torque kicks in nicely at lower revs. But as you climb up the rev range, the engine runs out of breath. The power is sent to the rear wheel via a five-speed manual gearbox.
Hero Xpulse 200T Mileage
The Hero Xpulse 200T touches a claimed top speed of 115km/h, and it delivers a fuel efficiency of 40km/l.
Hero Xpulse 200T Handling
The Hero Xpulse 200T offers a nice balance between ride and handling. The lower stance of the 200T results in sharper and precise handling around bends and corners. A 100/80-17 tubeless tyre at the front and a 130/70 R17 radial tubeless tyre at the back vastly improve the handling of the 200T. The bike sits on a diamond frame chassis, whilst the suspension duties are carried out by a telescopic fork with anti-friction bush set up at the front and an adjustable monoshock at the back. The braking power comes from a 276mm disc at the front and a 220mm disc at the back.
Hero Xpulse 200T Features
The Hero Xpulse 200T new model comes equipped with single channel ABS as part of the standard safety package. In addition, you get a fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. Both headlamp and taillamp are LEDs. The Hero Xpulse 200T colours are limited to four – Candy Blazing Red, Black, Matte Shield Gold, and Matte Axis Grey.
Hero Xpulse 200T Price & Variants
The Hero Xpulse 200T is available in only one variant. The Hero Xpulse 200T price (as of mid-2019) is ₹95,000. The Hero Xpulse 200T comes with a standard 5-year warranty from Hero MotoCorp. For the Hero Xpulse 200T on road price, be sure to check our price section.
