The Maestro Edge 125 Scooter is very identical to the Maestro Edge 110 in terms of exterior styling and dimensions. The beefed-up Maestro Edge is 1,843mm long, 718mm wide and 1,188mm in overall height. The scooter has a ground clearance of 155mm and weighs 110kg. The fuel tank has a minimal  holding capacity of 5 litres . 

Hero Maestro Edge 125 Engine & Transmission 

The Hero Maestro Edge 125 a 124.6cc single-cylinder motor that comes with an option of a carburetted model and a first in segment fuel-injected model, both mated to a CVT automatic transmission. The fuel-injected model puts out 9.1bhp and 10.2Nm of torque. In our time with the fuel-injected model, the scooter responded well to throttle inputs with brisk acceleration.

The Hero Maestro Edge 125 nudges a top speed of 90km/h, ride it efficiently and it returns a mileage of 55km/l.

The Hero Maestro Edge 125 is very comfortable to ride in the city, and the scooter manages to tackle most road undulations without breaking a sweat. The nimble ride quality is the result of a telescopic forks suspension setup at the front and a single coil spring hydraulic suspension at the rear. The scooter sits on an under-bone frame chassis and uses  a 90/90-12 profile tyre at the front and a 90/100-10 profile tyre at the rear. The stopping bite comes from 190mm disc up front (only on top-spec trims) and a 130mm drum brake at the rear.

The Hero Maestro Edge 125 new model has  some additional features in comparison to its smaller 110cc sibling. The carburetted model gets Hero’s i3s start-stop system, while IBS is standard across the range. The instrument cluster comprises a part-digital unit divided into an analogue speedometer and a digital display for the fuel gauge and the odometer. In terms of electricals, the headlamp and the taillamp aren’t LED.
