Hero Electric Photon Engine & Transmission

As said above, the Hero Electric Photon comes with two electric batteries with 48V/28Ah rating and the scooter comes mated to an automatic gearbox. Moreover, the Hero Electric Photon mileage is rated at 85km in power mode and 110km in economy mode.

Hero Electric Photon Handling

The Photon is built around a reinforced high strength steel frame. The suspension is handled by telescopic forks both at the front and the rear. There is a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear. The scooter comes equipped with 10*3 sized tyres for both ends. Lastly, the scooter comes with two riding modes – Power and Economy. 

Hero Electric Photon Features

The Hero Electric Photon new model comes equipped with a front disc brake, an anti-theft alarm system with remote, and a clear night vision headlamp. The instrument cluster is a classic analogue unit for the speedometer, odometer, and fuel gauge. The headlamp and taillamp both miss out on LEDs.

The Hero Electric Photon comes in two variants. The Hero Electric Photon price (as of mid-2020) is ₹85,541 for the 72V variant and ₹92,180 for the 48V variant.
