This scooter is powered by a BLDC hub motor and a 1.536kWh lithium-ion battery to produce a maximum driving power of 1200W. The top variant of the vehicle has a dual battery setup to deliver an increased range of 140 km on a full charge while the single battery variants can run up to 82 km on a full charge. The top speed of both the variants of this Hero Electric Scooter is 42 km/h and the grade-ability is seven degrees. Further, it is capable of carrying a maximum load of 150 kg.

The battery of the scooter can be charged fully in four to five hours’ time with a 6A Optima charger. The specifications of this two-wheeler also include telescopic suspensions in the front and rear, 12-inch alloy wheels, 90mm wide tubed tyres, and drum brakes of 130mm diameter with a combi braking system that links both the brakes to ensure the application of the brake force on both wheels, only by depressing one brake lever. Further, the front wheel gets five dual-spoke designs along with a multi-block designed tyre covered by a full front fender. Moreover, the side profile of the ‘CX’ version of the Hero Optima electric scooter exhibits a one-piece seat design, ‘Optima’ lettering at the under-seat outer body, body-coloured swing-arm covers, green rear shocker springs, and an upswept-looking vehicle design. The rear displays a wide tail light bordered with turn indicators, a pillion grab bar, and a rear reflector.

Apart from this, the scooter is equipped with a regenerative braking system to top up the battery by the depression of the brake, a portable battery to offer the convenience of detaching the battery and charging it at your home or office, and a USB port to charge the mobile phone during the ride. Furthermore, the Hero Electric Optima CX encompasses a remote lock, an antitheft alarm, a front storage box, a bag hook, and under-seat storage.

This scooter is sold in two variants named ‘Single Battery, and ‘Dual Battery’. The variant names themselves clarify the difference between both the variants albeit there may be a few more differences like riding range etc. The colour offerings of this two-wheeler are Red, Grey, Blue, and White.
