Evolet Pony

Exterior Details

The Evolet Pony is a small, conventional scooter. It features a slightly retro front end with more modern angles throughout the rest of the design. It gets a front apron mounted dual-pod headlights and a tall handlebar for a comfortable posture. It gets a large dual-seat, with pillion grab rails on the rear. It's an easy to manage and extremely lightweight scooter, coming in at a kerb weight of just 90kgs.

Engine & Transmission

The Evolet Pony is powered by a waterproof BLDC motor that can put down 250 watts of power. Powering the motor is a 48V/24Ah VRLA battery in the Evolet Pony EZ and a 48V/24Ah Lithium-ion battery in the Evolet Pony Classic variant. The Pony also gets a more economical lead-acid battery-powered variant. The Evolet Pony offers a top speed of 25kmph and a range of 60kmph. The VRLA battery variant takes a charging time of 8-9 hours, and the Lithium-ion battery takes a claimed charging time of 3-4 hours.

Handling

Handling for the Evolet Pony is taken care of by telescopic front forks, paired with twin shocks at the rear end. Stopping power for the Evolet Pony is provided by a front disc and rear drum combination, paired with 10-inch alloys on both ends. For safety, the scooter gets E-ABS as standard.  

Features

For such a base-priced automobile, the Evolet Pony gets a small list of fair features. The Evolet Pony gets LED treatment throughout, front and rear. The scooter also gets a fully digital display console with mobile app connectivity.

Price & Variants 

The Evolet Pony gets two variants and five colour schemes. The Evolet Pony EZ is priced at ₹45,999 (Ex-Showroom, New Delhi), and the Evolet Pony Classic is priced at ₹57,999 (Ex-Showroom, New Delhi).
