Exterior Details

The Multistrada 950’s design is an amalgamation of both the Multistrada 1200 and Multistrada 1200 Enduro’s styling, where Ducati India has kept the lightest elements while making sure the overall design remains compact. The Multistrada 950 is, dimensionally, 2,280mm in length, 995mm in width, and 1,470mm in height. The fuel tank capacity is a 20-litres. The bike weighs 229kg and sits 184mm above the ground.

Engine & Transmission

Powering the Multistrada 950 is, as mentioned above, a 937cc twin-cylinder engine, which is capable of churning out 113bhp of power and a peak torque of 96Nm. The bike comes mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. Lastly, the Ducati Multistrada 950 mileage is said to be around 16km/l.

Handling

The Multistrada 950 is based on a tubular steel trellis frame. The suspension duties are handled by KYB 48mm fully adjustable upside-down forks at the front and a fully adjustable Sachs monoshock at the rear. The braking duties are handled by dual 320mm discs at the front and a 265mm disc at the rear. It gets a 120/70 R19 tyre at the front and a wider yet smaller 170/60 R 17 tyre at the back.

The Ducati Multistrada 950 new model comes loaded with four different modes, namely Sport, Touring, Urban and Enduro where the Sport and Touring mode are the fastest and the other two are for comfort riding. On the safety side of the spectrum, the bike comes equipped with semi-active electronic suspension, a quick-shifter, traction control, cornering ABS, and vehicle hold control. The instrument cluster is fully digital and gives you multiple information like speed, revs, odometer, fuel gauge, and so on. Lastly, the headlamp and taillamp are both powered with LEDs.
