Exterior Details

The Multistrada 1260 boasts a fresh adventure design, but still, it looks a bit similar to the Multistrada 950. The Multistrada 1260 is 2,200mm long, 985mm to 1,000mm wide depending on the variant, and 1,415mm to 1,545mm in height.

Engine & Transmission

The Ducati Multistrada 1260 gets a 1,262cc twin-cylinder liquid-cooled motor, which produces 153.5bhp of power and a peak torque of 129.5Nm. The adventure bike comes mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. The Ducati Multistrada 1260 mileage is claimed to be 19km/l.

Handling

The Multistrada 1260 is built around a tubular steel trellis frame. The suspension comprises 48mm fully adjustable upside-down forks at the front and a fully adjustable Sachs monoshock unit at the rear. Braking is handled by a 320mm disc at the front and a 265mm disc at the rear. The front tyre and the rear tyre are 120/70 R17 and 190/55 R17 in size, respectively.

Features

The Ducati Multistrada 1260 new model comes loaded with a ton of tech; there is vehicle hold control, two-way quickshifter, cruise control, four riding modes, power modes, and Ducati wheelie control. Talking about the safety, the bike comes with the standard hill hold assist, cornering ABS and Ducati traction control. The instrument cluster is a fully digital unit, which shows speed, odometer, revs, trips, and all the important information.
