Tata Motors Brings Electric Car Portfolio to Mauritius with Launch of Tiago, Punch, Nexon EV
TATA.ev makes its debut in Mauritius, partnering with Allied Motors to introduce its electric vehicles, including the Punch and the Nexon.

Leveraging on the success of its electric vehicles in India, TATA.ev has entered Mauritius, marking its first foray outside the SAARC region through a partnership with Allied Motors, the country's leading automobile distributor. The initial electric lineup for Mauritius includes the Tiago EV, Punch EV, and Nexon EV. The company has announced an attractive warranty package, with 8 years/160,000 km for the battery and motor and 7 years for the vehicle. A complimentary 7.2 kW home charging wall box is also offered, and Allied Motors will provide complete sales and after-sales assistance through its trained staff.
Commenting on this market expansion, Mr. Yash Khandelwal, Head of International Business, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., said, ‘We are thrilled to introduce our electric vehicle portfolio in Mauritius, marking our first international expansion beyond the SAARC region.’

Tata Tiago, Punch Nexon EVs: Key Highlights
The Tiago.ev promises an enjoyable and practical electric driving experience, powered by a 24kWh battery that offers a range of 190-210 kilometres. It also boasts rapid charging, reaching 80% from 10% in less than an hour.
The Punch EV has a 35kWh battery, 121bhp (90kW) motor, 190Nm, and 270-290 kilometres of range. Other key highlights include a large 10.25-inch HD Harman infotainment system, an auto-dimming rearview mirror for safety, and leatherette upholstery.

The Nexon EV comes with a 45kWh battery, enabling a real-world range of 350-375 kilometres. The 142bhp (106kW) motor and 215Nm of torque allow the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 8.9 seconds. The Nexon electric SUV is packed with features like dual 10.25-inch screens, a voice-assisted sunroof, and fast DC charging (10%-80% in just 40 minutes).
