CFMoto's adventure tourer, the CFMoto 650MT has been released in the Indian market for its updated BS6 variant. The 650MT is a tall, imposing and significantly modern-looking ADV tourer. It features a unique looking front end, almost litre-class motorcycle features and an impressive engine. The bike gets a few minor updates for its latest variant, and a few features that make it a decent and easy to ride adventure tourer. So, what does the 2021 CFMoto 650MT in India offer? CFMoto 650MT Exterior Details

The CFMoto 650MT gets a quintessential ADV tourer design. The most visible feature first, the bike gets a large and complicated crash bar surrounding it for protection. The bike gets a unique front end with a large half-fairing that houses its twin LED pod headlights. The bike completes the look with a tall handlebar, upright ergonomics, a proper touring visor and optional pannier mounts. It doesn't get wire-spoked wheels though and makes do with spoked alloys.

CFMoto 650MT Engine & Transmission

The CFMoto 650MT shares its powertrain with its 650 siblings, albeit in a different state of tune. The bike gets a 649.3cc twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine updated for BS6 emission norms. The engine in the MT variant puts down 55.65bhp at 8250rpm and 54.4Nm of peak torque at 7000rpm, which is significantly lower than its outgoing variant. It comes linked to a six-speed manual transmission.

CFMoto 650MT Handling

The CFMoto 650MT is suspended on 43mm Yuan USD front forks, unlike its siblings, which comes with compression-adjustability and more travel. On the rear end, the mono-shock suspension comes with both compression and preload-adjustability. Stopping the 650MT are provided by J Juan braking callipers mated to 300mm twin petal discs at the front end and a single 225mm petal disc at the rear. For safety, the bike gets ABS as standard.

CFMoto 650MT Features

The CFMoto 650MT is an ADV tourer and gets features as such. Surprisingly, it misses out on a few features that the flagship sport tourer, the 650GT does get. The bike gets a complete LED treatment with DRLs in the headlight and smoked indicators. The bike also gets an adjustable windscreen. The display is loaded with information though, such as fuel gauge, tachometer, two trip meters, shift light and a side stand indicator. The bike also gets ABS as standard, and two riding modes - Touring and Sport.
