It is powered by a 486cc twin-cylinder, four-stroke, liquid-cooled engine with a four-valve-per-cylinder setup operated by a dual overhead camshaft. This engine produces a maximum power of 46.9bhp at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 43 Nm at 6,750 rpm. It is mated to a six-speed gearbox with manual shifting, to transmit the engine power to the wheels.
