BMW R nineT Exterior Details

The R nineT is a retro motorcycle that can be customized to the needs of the rider. Speaking of the dimensions, the bike is 2,105mm in overall length, 865mm in overall width, and 1,240mm in overall height. The bike has a fuel tank capacity of 18-litres, and it weighs 221kg.

BMW R nineT Engine & Transmission

The BMW R nineT comes powered by a 1,170cc twin-cylinder mill, which produces 107.2bhp of power and 116Nm of peak torque. The motor comes mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. As for the BMW R nineT mileage, it returns around 16km/l.

BMW R nineT Handling

The BMW R nineT is based on a four-section frame, and its suspension duties are managed by upside-down telescopic forks at the front and a cast aluminium single-sided swingarm at the back. The front wheel and the rear wheel is 120/70 ZR17 and 180/55 ZR17 in size, respectively. The stopping bite comes from dual 320mm discs at the front and a 265mm disc at the back.

The BMW R nineT new model gets an Akrapovic exhaust that can be mounted in a lower or raised position. In terms of safety, ABS is standard across the range. Moreover, the headlamp and taillamp are both powered by LEDs. The instrument cluster is a dual-pod analogue unit, comprising analogue dials for both the tachometer and speedometer, while there are two small screens that display the odometer, trip meter, and fuel gauge, amongst other things.
