Bajaj Freedom Engine and Transmission

This motorcycle comes with a 125cc four-stroke air-cooled engine with a four-valve configuration. It also incorporates a petrol tank offering to ride on petrol when out of CNG. It develops a peak power and torque of 9.37bhp at 8000 rpm and 9.7 Nm at 5000 rpm, respectively.  The engine is mated to a five-speed manual transmission system with a heel-and-toe shifter.

Bajaj Freedom Mileage

The riding range of this two-wheeler is claimed to be 200km and its CNG tank capacity is 2 kg. It means that the Bajaj CNG bike’s mileage hovers around 100 km/kg. On petrol, the Freedom 125 mileage has been claimed to be around 60-65 km/l.

Bajaj Freedom Specifications

The other bike specifications include an exposed tubular steel cradle trellis frame and an efficient suspension system. The suspension setup boasts a telescopic front fork and a mono-shock absorber in the rear. The vehicle rides on a 17-inch front alloy wheel and a 16-inch rear alloy wheel sporting a 120mm wide tyre. The braking system incorporates both drum and front disc options, depending upon the variant chosen.

The Freedom comes with a bit similar dimensions to that of the Bajaj Platina 100. It has a ground clearance of around 170mm and a wheelbase is 1340mm. Its seat has been positioned at a height of 825mm and it has a kerb weight of 149 kg.

This CNG motorcycle has a gas tank placed under the seat. The single seat is flat, comfortable, and quilted while there is also a smaller 2-litre petrol tank. Additionally, the Bajaj Freedom has a small front cowl and a wide handlebar for effortless steering and stress-free riding. A sleek tail lamp, five-dual-spoke alloy wheels, mid-set footpegs, a long seat, and a rear-left sturdy guard are also visible. Furthermore, it exhibits an upswept exhaust pipe, a compact engine guard, and a pillion grab rail. The bike showcases a commuter bike look that appeals to riders who need a simple and efficient two-wheeler.

This bike is equipped with a combi braking system to provide safety by offering precise stopping power. The lighting system has an LED headlamp, bulb-based indicators, and an LED tail lamp too. It further includes a fully digital speedometer with Bluetooth connectivity that displays the essential ride information at a glance. Moreover, it boasts PESO certified CNG cylinder and fork sleeve protector for safety purposes.
