Bajaj CT 110 Engine and Transmission

The CT110 is equipped with a 115cc DTSI air-cooled four-stroke single-cylinder engine with an electronic injection fuel system. It pushes out a maximum power of 8.48bhp at 7000 RPM and 9.81Nm of peak torque at 5000 RPM. The DTSI engine comes mated to a four-speed manual gearbox with all downshifts, transferring the power to the wheels. The engine has a nice spread of torque in the lower end of the rev range. The lack of fifth gear, however, is prominent at higher speeds.

While the overall silhouette remains identical to the CT100, the CT110 gets blacked-out treatment on the alloy wheels. The engine, suspension, and handlebar also get the same treatment. The changes are next to none, at least to the untrained eye. Additionally, it gets a new set of decals for a fresh appeal. For better comfort, Bajaj has added tank grips and a thick cushion on the seat.

The Bajaj CT110 new model has the same level of equipment as its smaller sibling. For instrumentation, the CT110 comes with a twin-pod analogue setup for the speedometer as well as the tachometer. The headlamp is LED while the tail lamp still uses the conventional halogen bulbs. Furthermore, this motorbike is equipped with a combi braking system that adds precision to the stopping power.
