Bajaj CT 100 Highlights
The Bajaj CT100 is the most affordable motorcycle in Bajaj’s product portfolio. The target audience for this motorcycle is rural customers as it is a low maintenance hassle-free vehicle. While the erstwhile base-spec variant of the CT100 reminded of old age bikes, the newer BS-VI version looks more like a conventional commuter and, at least, not old age.
Exterior Details
Bajaj CT100 is a conventional and practical bike for rural areas. In terms of dimensions, the CT100 is 1,945mm in length, 752mm in width, and 1,072mm in height. The bike sits 170mm above the ground, and it has a fuel tank capacity of 10.5-litres. The kerb weight of the bike is a decent 114kg.
Engine & Transmission
The Bajaj CT100 gets a BS-VI compliant 102cc single-cylinder motor, which churns out 7.7 brake horsepower and 8.34Nm of torque. The air-cooled engine comes mated to a four-speed manual gearbox. In addition to that, the Bajaj CT100 mileage is rated at 75km/l.
Handling
The CT100 is based on a tubular single down tube chassis, while its braking is the responsibility of a 130mm drum at the front and a 110mm drum at the back. The suspension duties are handled by hydraulic telescopic forks at the front and an SNS suspension at the rear. The front section gets a 2.75*17 section tyre while the rear section gets a 3.00*17 section tyre.
Features
The Bajaj CT100 new model does not have much in terms of electronics. The headlamp and the taillamp both miss out on LEDs. The instrument cluster comes with analogue dials for the tachometer and the speedometer.
Price & Variants
The Bajaj CT100 comes in just two variants. The Bajaj CT100 price (as of mid-2020) is ₹45,302 for the KS Alloy BS-VI variant and ₹52,315 for the ES Alloy BS-VI variant. The CT100 comes with a standard 2-year warranty. For the Bajaj CT100 on-road price, be sure to check our price section.
