Bajaj Chetak Exterior Details

The Bajaj Chetak is, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful scooters in the Indian market. It has a sleek and curvy design that draws its inspiration from other European scooters. The overall design is neat and contemporary, certain to appeal to a wide audience. The retro-styling is achieved with a circular headlamp, vertically-placed grille on the front apron, and smooth lines all over the body. Bajaj Chetak Engine & Transmission

Gone is the 2-stroke petrol-powered engine of the original Bajaj Chetak for a cleaner electric powertrain. The 2020 Bajaj Chetak is powered by a 4kW BLDC motor that works in tandem with a 3kWh IP67-rated lithium-ion battery. As a result, the figures are rated at 5.47bhp for power and 16Nm for torque. Bajaj officials claim a riding range of 95km in Eco mode and 85km in Sport mode.

The Bajaj Chetak new model brings in a plethora of features to the table. In terms of lighting, all the lamps are powered with LEDs. Moreover, Bajaj has upped the ante by equipping the Chetak with rear LED sequential blinkers, similar to the ones found in newer-age Audis. The instrumentation is carried over by a circular digital display good for a number of essential information. There is also a reverse-gear that makes the process of getting out of a tight parking space a breeze. The feather-touch activated switchgear is also a nice addition. The scooter also gets connected-tech that can be operated via the Chetak mobile app.
