Avanturaa Choppers bike is a Mumbai-based brand which manufactures premium chopper-style motorcycles. As one of the newest companies to officially enter this niche segment in the last 33 years, Avanturaa plans to bet big by introducing the first brand of street-legal, world-class choppers to the country.

Originating in the USA in the 1950s, choppers (a special class of motorcycles) rapidly became a sensation among enthusiasts across the world with innovations, competitions and a thriving global community. However, the Indian motorhead was yet to enjoy the authentic chopper experience despite the rapidly evolving riding culture. So, to offer the Indian riding aficionado the ultimate chopper experience, Avanturaa Choppers bike came into existence.
The motorcycles are built using high-spec components sourced from overseas brands. Powering the bikes are 2,000cc V-twin engines, the largest ever from an Indian company. The motors are sourced from S&S, an American brand with over 50 years of experience in building multiple high-performance solutions, including full engines for V-twin cruisers and custom bikes. The transmission is a Rivera six-speed unit while the suspension is sourced from Progressive. Lastly, the mammoth tyres are from Avon and the brake callipers are procured from the French manufacturer, Beringer.
While the choppers were first shown to the public at the 2017 India Bike Week and deliveries commenced in December 2017, Avanturaa Choppers bike had set a target of selling about 200 bikes by the end of 2019 and aims at a 7-8 percent market share by 2022.
The range of Avanturaa Choppers bike in India consists of the Rudra and the Pravega which form the company’s 2018 product line-up.
