Exterior Details

In the design department, the Ather 450X looks virtually identical to the 450, barring a few small changes. Dimension-wise, the electric scooter is 1,800mm in overall length, 700mm in overall width, and 1,250mm in overall height. It has a ground clearance of 160mm, and it tips the scale at 108kg.

Engine & Transmission

Powering the Ather 450X is a 3.3kW/6kW electric motor, which is good for 26Nm of torque. It works in tandem with a 2.9kWh lithium-on battery. As for the Ather 450X mileage in terms of riding range, the electric scooter is good for 70km on a single charge in Ride mode and 85km on a single charge in Eco mode, according to Ather.

Handling

The Ather 450X new model rides on telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the back. It gets 90/90-12 Tubeless tyres on both ends, along with a 200mm disc brake at the front and a 190mm disc brake at the rear. Lastly, it is built around a precision machined hybrid chassis.

Features

The Ather 450X, just like its smaller sibling, gets a full-LED lighting setup. Besides that, it also gets an Android-based 7.0-inch instrument cluster with Bluetooth 4.2 and 4G LTE connectivity. There are three riding modes on offer (X-Eco, Ride, and Sport) along with park assist and a side-stand sensor.
