Engine & Transmission

The Ather 450 gets a BLDC motor combined to a 1.92 kWh lithium-ion battery, producing 5.8bhp and 20Nm of torque. The motor comes mated to an automatic transmission. Moreover, as for its range, the Ather 450 mileage is said t be 75km on a full charge.

Handling

The Ather 450 comes with a 200mm disc at the front and a 190mm disc at the rear for braking. The scooter is based on a precision machined hybrid chassis and the suspension duties are taken care of by telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear.

Features

The Ather 450 new model comes equipped with modern-age electronics, inclusive of a reverse gear, smartphone integration, OTA updates functionality, and two riding modes – Sport and Ride as standard. The electronics work in coherence with a 7-inch colour touchscreen, which shows a host of information comprising driving dynamics, riding modes, speedometer, range, battery levels, and so on. The headlamp and the taillamp, lastly, are both equipped with LEDs.
