Aprilia SXR 125 Exterior Details

The Aprilia SXR 125 looks very similar to its elder sibling, the SXR 160. Not surprising, since the SXR 125 is basically the body and chassis of an SXR 160 with a 125cc engine powering it. In the looks department, the scooter is iconic. The sporty angled tail with its almost spoiler-looking grab rail, iconic Aprilia headlights, and overall shape are exuberant of the Italian styling that Aprilia is synonymous with. Compared to its sportier sibling, the SR 125, the Aprilia SXR 125 gets a slightly different styling, complete with a touring style visor on the front. The Aprilia SXR 125's dimensions come in at 1963mm in length and 803mm in width.

Aprilia SXR 125 Engine & Transmission

The Aprilia SXR 125 gets a 124.45cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that puts down 9.4bhp at 7,600rpm and 9.2Nm at 6,250rpm. Its siblings in the 125cc category, such as the SR 125, get the same engine, albeit in a different tune. This engine gets a CVT transmission with a dry clutch setup.

Aprilia SXR 125 Handling

For handling the Indian roads, the Aprilia SXR 125 gets a Hydraulic Telescopic suspension on the front end and a hydraulic shock on the rear. The SXR 125 also gets smaller rims, as it rides on 12-inch alloys. The chassis and suspension of the SXR 125 are similar to its siblings. However, it gets a slightly different state of tune for the suspension. For safety duties, the SXR 125 gets CBS (Combined Braking System).  

Aprilia SXR 125 Features

The Aprilia SXR 125 gets a fair number of features. The sporty scooter gets a complete LED treatment, with a headlights design reminiscent of Aprilia's premium motorcycles. The scooter gets multiple storage compartments, including under-seat storage and a lockable front storage. The scooter also gets a USB charging port under the seat. The SXR 125's LCD screen displays a significant amount of information, including fuel economy. Bluetooth connectivity however, is an optional extra.
