Exterior Details

Following a modern and sleek design language, the Ampere Reo Elite is a compact scooter that aims to lure young buyers. Dimension-wise, the scooter is 1,670mm in length, 640mm in width, and 1,110mm in height. The ground clearance is 130mm, and the kerb weight is 86kg. Engine & Transmission

The Ampere Reo Elite is powered by a 250W BLDC motor, which works in tandem with a 48V – 20Ah lead-acid battery. Unlike the standard Reo, the Reo Elite doesn’t offer a lithium-ion battery, not even as an option. The top speed is limited to 25km/h, meaning a driver’s license and registration aren’t mandatory to ride the Reo Elite. The riding range is limited to 55 – 65kms on a single charge, depending on various factors.

Handling

The Ampere Reo new model features a telescopic forks suspension setup at the front and a coil spring suspension at the back. The braking hardware comprises 110mm drums on both ends. As for the tyres, the scooter comes equipped with a 3.00-10 4PR tyre on both ends.

Features

The highlight of the Ampere Reo Elite has to be the LED digital display, which shows all the essential information about the scooter quite legibly. It’s mainly dominated by a large speed reading on the left, while the battery gauge and the estimated riding range are displayed on the right.
