It has been marketed as a faster and safer electric scooter that offers a power-packed performance and keeps you connected while you explore the streets of your city.

Ampere Primus Engine, Specifications, and Performance

This scooter is powered by a mid-mount PMS motor connected with a 3kWh lithium ferro phosphate battery to churn out a maximum power of 4000W to propel the vehicle. It helps the scooter to achieve a 0-40 km/h acceleration in 4.2 seconds and a top speed of 77 km/h, as stated by the manufacturer. Further, the ARAI-certified riding range of this Ampere scooter is 107 km in PWR mode and it can carry a maximum load of 150 kg. Its grade-ability has been claimed to be 7 degrees.

Looking at other specifications, it is built on an underbone chassis and possesses a telescopic front suspension, dual shocker in the rear suspension, 12-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres, and front and rear drum brakes with the combi braking system that aids in precise braking and controlled ride quality. The Primus comes with three ride modes – Eco, City, and PWR – along with an additional reverse mode that provides ease in reversing the two-wheeler in busy traffic conditions. Apart from this, the Ampere primus gets an LCD console consisting of a digital odometer, digital clock, a low battery indicator, and mobile Bluetooth connectivity feature. Additionally, it boasts a USB mobile charger to offer the feasibility to keep the mobile phone and other electronic gadgets charged while on the move. Moreover, it has a 22-litre storage capacity, stand-alarm, start-stop button, and pass light.

Ampere Primus Price and Variants

This scooter is sold in a single Standard variant and four colours – Royal Bengal Orange, Havelock Blue, Buck Black, and Himalayan White. Further, this vehicle comes with a manufacturer’s warranty of three years or 30000 km, whichever is earlier.
