Toyota has revealed the eye-catching new GR Yaris Rally1, which will compete in the World Rally Championship in 2024 and has a completely redesigned look. The dynamic visual shift has red and white emerging from a sleek black bodywork while retaining Toyota's trademark corporate colours. Featuring a new design for the forthcoming GR Yaris Rally1, this striking livery will be used in Toyota's WRC and WEC competitions. The 2024 World Endurance Championship entrants for Toyota's GR010 Hypercar will sport a similar unique colour scheme with the Japanese company's GR logo.

Rallying fans can look forward to a thrilling confrontation between Hyundai's i20 N and M-Sport-Ford's Puma Rally1 cars in the new year. These high-performance machines are ready to make the 2024 season a visual and competitive spectacle.

2024 WRC Calendar

With two additional rallies added to the schedule, the 2024 World Rally will span four continents and thirteen rounds. Rally Monte Carlo will take place on January 25, 2024, before the WRC heads to the snowy Swedish forests for the annual second round in February. March is when Safari Rally Kenya takes place, which means it could be much more difficult than usual due to the region's wet season.

After the rally's contract was not renewed in 2017 due to increasing safety concerns regarding spectators, the extraordinarily fast gravel stages of Poland are making a triumphant return. Taking the place of Rally Estonia in 2024, Rally Latvia will continue its successful run as a European Rally Championship segment.

World Rally Championship

An international motorsport series, the World Rally Championship (WRC) features high-performance cars driven by some of the world's top rally drivers and manufacturers across a variety of difficult locations. The World Rally Championship (WRC) has been around since 1973 and is now considered a top event in the rally racing world.

A number of events, called rallies, are usually organised in different places all around the globe to make up the championship. Different types of terrain, including gravel, asphalt, snow, and dirt, are used in each rally's own series of stages. The drivers and co-drivers must demonstrate their speed, accuracy, and ability to adapt to various road conditions as they navigate through these stages, which can stretch hundreds of kilometres.

Participation in the WRC allows manufacturers to showcase their vehicles' capabilities in challenging, real-world environments. The Monte Carlo Rally, Rally Finland, Rally Sweden, and Rally Argentina are just a few of the legendary events that make up the championship. The World Rally Champion is the team that accumulates the most points at the conclusion of the season, which is determined by how well they perform in each rally.
