Sebastian Vettel and Mick Schumacher will team up for Team Germany at the 2025 Race of Champions. They will compete in the Nations Cup on Friday, March 28th, at Accor Stadium in Sydney. Seven-time Supercars champion Jamie Whincup is also confirmed, with more big-name drivers expected to be announced soon. Vettel, who won the Nations Cup six times with Michael Schumacher, hopes to find the same success when racing alongside Mick. The Race of Champions features top drivers from various racing disciplines competing in identical cars, making it an exciting, unpredictable event for motorsport fans.

F1: Schumacher in Contention for 2025 Sauber F1 Seat
Mick Schumacher has struggled to return to Formula 1 full-time since losing his Haas seat at the end of 2022. Despite his roles as a reserve driver for Mercedes and racing in the World Endurance Championship with Alpine, an F1 seat has remained out of reach.
Although Alpine chose rookie Jack Doohan over Schumacher for 2025, Audi is now considering him as a possible teammate for Nico Hulkenberg at Sauber. The team is also evaluating F2 talent Gabriel Bortoleto and Valtteri Bottas.

Audi is gearing up to take over Sauber in 2026 and is actively building a strong Formula 1 team. If Mick Schumacher joins Sauber, he would team up with Nico Hülkenberg, who is leaving Haas after the 2024 season. Hülkenberg, an experienced 37-year-old German driver, has already secured one of Sauber's seats for the next season.
