TVS Racing, the racing arm of TVS Motor Company, has demolished its previous top speed record at the 2023 TVS Asia One Make Championship, setting a new record of 215.9km/h in the first round of the championship held at Chang International Circuit, Thailand. Last year, the TVS Asia OMC RR 310 achieved a milestone for TVS Racing by clocking 211.2km/h. Besides breaking its top speed record, the team also has broken its lap record by 1.1 seconds with a new lap time of 1:50:850, as against its previous record set at 1:49:742. The race-tuned OMC RR 310 is based on the company's flagship motorcycle - TVS Apache RR 310.

TVS Asia OMC RR 310: Key details
For the second edition of the championship in 2023, the OMC RR 310 is good enough to put out a higher output for better performance, according to the company. The racing bike is available with improved ECU (electronic control unit) calibration and gear ratios. Furthermore, it receives a new customised suspension setup. It is claimed that the TVS Apache has been built and developed around the 'Track to Road' philosophy that underscores its class-leading performance, style, and technology.

2023 TVS Asia One Make Championship
The second edition of the 2023 TVS Asia One Make Championship is scheduled to be held across 6 rounds, alongside the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC). This season has 14 racers from 7 countries, including India, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Japan.

In the first round of the global championship, rider Vorapong Malahuan secured the top spot in the first two races. Whereas Indian racers KY Ahamed and Jagan Kumar finished in the top 10.
