The Stake F1 Team is the new name of the formerly Alfa Romeo Formula 1 team, which took effect on January 1. In addition to changing its name, the squad has unveiled a new logo and updated their social media accounts. The team is still officially known as Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber, which was first announced in last month's FIA registration. The name of the chassis is also Kick Sauber. But Stake F1 Team is the name most people will use when they hear the Swiss outfit's name. After their deal with Alfa Romeo expired without an extension beyond 2023, the decision was made to change the name for the next two seasons. This update comes before Audi branding is fully integrated in 2026. Although both Stake and Kick are shared owners, Kick was used more frequently in Australia, Spain, Belgium, and Qatar last season. At Spa, a unique Kick livery was on display.

Team Representative Alessandro Alunni Bravi said: "Last season represented the start of Stake’s journey in Formula 1, and the brand’s new role headlining Stake F1 Team represents the natural and exciting next step on this path. Stake not only successfully tapped into Formula 1’s growing fan base to enhance its own community; but also introduced a completely new audience to the sport, something that benefitted not only our team but also everyone else in F1.
"We had the opportunity to participate in some incredible activations with some of Stake’s ambassadors, including Argentine football legend Sergio Aguero and Indian-Canadian rapper Karan Aujla. 2024 will be a new page and the chance to do more, better, and reach even farther: we are looking forward to an even more exciting calendar of events in this new season.”

The Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber, an official name for the Swiss squad, will have a spectacular season-opening event in London, the capital of the UK, on February 5, 2024. Following the 2023 season, Sauber finished ninth in the constructors' classification, three positions lower than in the previous season. However, the squad remains steadfast in its dedication to maintaining a consistent driver lineup for the forthcoming season. As they have done thus far, Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu will spearhead the charge in the upcoming season.
