Once again, the Formula E grid will be tested by searing heat  this time in New York.

New York is the next stop on the 2022 FIA ABB Formula E World Championship calendar, about which the whole team is quite excited. After all, it's one of the coolest cities in the world. And like most sports in the USA, there is incredible energy around this one too.

Once again, it’s going to be hot. After Jakarta and Marrakesh, where we gathered some really good thermal management data, we feel that we understand the effects on battery efficiency a lot more, which will affect not only our strategy but also our performance.

We showed what we could do in a race in Marrakesh – we just need to go into it without such a battle ahead of us. Getting into the duels is essential – we missed out by just 0.083 seconds last time out, which left me outside of the top ten. Yes, I managed to climb to second place, but we used too much energy to make the position stick. If we can qualify where I think we belong – inside the top eight – then we can attack the top five without using so much energy.

Keep an eye on the Mahindra Racing social channels to follow our performance over the weekend and to see exclusive and behind-the-scenes content. You can also Fanboost me, which gives me an extra boost of power during the race.

*You can find out all the information on how to do this at the Formula E website.
