After a lacklustre start to the 2021-22 ABB FIA Formula E season in Diriyah, Mahindra Racing's latest recruit – Oliver Rowland – vows to be more consistent in the upcoming third round in Mexico.
After a mixed weekend in Diriyah in Saudi Arabia, we head to Mexico City with a few things to fix but we also have a lot of very good foundations to build on. We know we are fast, and we know the car is a really good race-ready machine, so the tools are in place to get great results. We just have to make sure we are consistent throughout the weekend so we can convert our promises into podiums.
Other than one outing with Mahindra Racing in 2015, the Diriyah E-Prix was the first race for me with my new team. I was immediately made to feel at home. The team has so much passion and energy and I know that together we will be able to use this to achieve some good results in Mexico City.
It’s a great track and always makes for good racing. The fans here are really incredible and I know all of us within the sport are delighted to welcome them back. We are also grateful for the ongoing support from our fans around the world, particularly in India, and we hope to put on another show for the nation this weekend.
On that note, we would really appreciate some extra support in Formula E’s Fanboost vote – the drivers who get the most votes get extra power on the track, which is a truly active way to be a part of the team and share in our success. Get voting!*
