BMW has revealed the 2025 BMW M4 GT3 EVO ahead of its third appearance at the Nurburgring 24 Hours in Germany. For the 2024 season, the FIA World Endurance Championship has shifted to the widely-adopted GT3 platform, including the LMGT3 category with nine manufacturers, among them BMW in partnership with Team WRT. The new M4 GT3 EVO is set to compete in the GTD and GTD Pro categories, affirming its presence in esteemed multi-class sportscar championships like the WEC and the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, along with other GT3 events. Furthermore, BMW has teased the development of the next-generation BMW M4 GT4, designed for the fiercely competitive GT4 arena, featuring reduced aerodynamic downforce and power output compared to its GT3 counterpart.

Head of BMW M Motorsport Andreas Roos said: 'The BMW M4 GT3 has achieved more than 70 victories and countless major successes since its introduction. I particularly remember the DTM titles in 2022, the victory at the 24-hour Spa-Francorchamps in 2023, and the title wins in the North American IMSA series. I am convinced that the EVO model of the BMW M4 GT3, as well as that of the BMW M4 GT4, will contribute to playing in the first league of GT racing in the coming years and celebrating many more great victories. BMW M4 GT3 Evo: Details
In the latest iteration of the M4 GT3, BMW improved drivability, efficiency, and reliability above and beyond its performance. Noteworthy updates include smaller rear-view mirrors, enlarged air outlets on the front-wheel arches, and adjustments to the rear wing to bolster aerodynamic efficiency.
Furthermore, the introduction of new anti-roll bars on both front and rear axles, along with larger rear brake discs and a more user-friendly differential, aims to lessen tyre and brake wear. Headlights and tail lights have been revamped, along with weight-saving measures.

There's a robust 3.0-litre twin-turbo inline-six powering this racing machine, delivering 590bhp. Transmitting power to the wheels is a six-speed Xtrac sequential gearbox, carried over from the M8 GTE model. BMW asserts that the new turbochargers offer heightened reliability, boasting a maintenance-free operation for the initial 20,000km.
