Both Yamaha and Honda have struggled throughout the 2023 MotoGP season – Yamaha only got one podium in seven races, and Honda's Americas GP triumph with Alex Rins was more of a fluke than anything else. In recent years, the grid's equilibrium has shifted towards European manufacturers, with Ducati in the lead, ahead of KTM and Aprilia. Honda had a rough Grand Prix weekend in Germany due to the absence of two riders – Joan Mir and Rins – owing to injuries they sustained in separate accidents. Marc Marquez had to quit Sunday's race due to five separate accidents. In a recent interview, Jack Miller expresses his unfiltered thoughts, without any concerns about the repercussions. At the Sachsenring, he seemed quite angry, after joking about being caught in a ‘Ducati sandwich’.
MotoGP: What did Jack Miller Say?
After the race on Sunday, Jack Miller of the KTM Factory Racing team addressed the media and encouraged his competitors to focus on ‘riding a motorcycle' rather than complaining about their machine's performance
‘We (KTM) are the only ones not complaining about our motorcycles, and we (KTM) are actually trying to do something about it, to fix it. Everyone else, all they do is throw their toys out of the cot and say that my bike is s**t. As simple as that,’ the Australian said.
The KTM rider further said, ‘Yeah, but why are they s**t? Because it’s their own doing. They kicked out 99% of the engineers to get his engineers. His guys in there. And now they are f****d, and he can't even make it past the lap. So, it's their own doing. Everybody wants to complain about their own bikes, nobody wants to do anything about it. Shut the f**k up and get on with it the job.’
Miller was leading the early stages of the German Grand Prix on Sunday, but he suffered a terrifying moment at Turn 11 on the first lap, which dropped him to fourth place, from which he never recovered. Miller claims the KTM does not have the same early race pace as the Italian motorcycles, which is why it finished sixth behind five Ducatis.

MotoGP: Marc Marquez Miserable German GP
The Repsol Honda rider's weekend went from bad to worse at the Sachsenring, which is one of Marquez’s favourite circuits, and yet he was forced to withdraw from the grand prix, owing to a broken finger – a result of his latest crash in the 2023 German MotoGP weekend – despite being medically allowed to return to action. The eight-time world champion was definitely disappointed after his Turn 7 highside, which ended his unbeaten run of 11 races at the Sachsenring. He finished tenth in the Saturday Sprint.
On Friday, Marquez's rear tyre let out and almost launched him off the bike at the scary Turn 11 Waterfall turn, making him increasingly frustrated with the dangers of riding the RC213V.
