Trackhouse Racing owner Justin Marks has confirmed the extension of his contract with Aprilia and is actively advocating for Miguel Oliveira and Raul Fernandez to secure factory MotoGP bikes in 2024. Oliveira and Fernandez, who were members of RNF in 2023 until the team was kicked out of the MotoGP for breaking its participation agreement, will be on the squad this year. At the launch event, an Aprilia with a Stars and Stripes design similar to Nicky Hayden's was on display, albeit the race livery has not yet been revealed. Carlos Ezpeleta, Dorna's chief sporting officer, Massimo Rivola, CEO of Aprilia, and Dan Rossomondo, Dorna's chief commercial officer, were among the notable participants.

Justin Marks, speaking to the media, highlighted the multi-year contract that Trackhouse Racing has signed with Aprilia. This shows that the team prefers stability versus making decisions every year all over again.

Massimo Rivola, CEO of Aprilia's racing division, had a significant role in the team's announcement presentation earlier this month in Italy. The level of cooperation that the two organisations hope to achieve is demonstrated by this position.

According to Trackhouse Entertainment Group's announcement, MotoGP will be “managed by Trackhouse Entertainment Group from Nashville, Tennessee but operate in Noale, Italy in an alliance with motorcycle manufacturer Aprilia and the Piaggio Group,” according to its announcement.

MotoGP: About Trackhouse Racing

MotoGP Trackhouse Racing 2

Trackhouse Racing, co-owned by Justin Marks and musician Pitbull, boasts significant achievements in the North American NASCAR circuit, including six Cup Series victories. Originally slated for a MotoGP debut in 2025, the team expedited its entry into international motorcycle racing, prompted by unforeseen challenges arising from CryptoDATA's actions. Despite initial plans to join MotoGP in 2025, the team explored this avenue earlier in the year with a visit to the MotoGP paddock.

The hastened transition to MotoGP became imperative due to the adverse impact of CryptoDATA's actions, rendering RNF's position untenable. In a strategic move, Trackhouse Racing will seamlessly integrate the personnel and resources of the former RNF squad, assuming operational control.

In a significant continuity move, contractual riders for Aprilia, Miguel Oliveira and Raul Fernandez, will persist with the team under the Trackhouse label, solidifying their presence in the MotoGP championship. This strategic manoeuvre ensures a smooth transition and underscores Trackhouse Racing's commitment to success in the international motorcycle racing arena.
