Yamaha Motor has announced the appointment of Paolo Pavesio as the new Team Principal of its MotoGP program, effective from the 2025 season. Pavesio will replace Lin Jarvis, who has led the team for over 20 years. As an experienced executive within Yamaha Europe, Pavesio brings extensive expertise to the position. He has served on Yamaha's Management Committee and held various leadership positions at the company's Netherlands office. Although Pavesio has not previously worked directly in MotoGP, his deep understanding of Yamaha's operations and his proven track record make him well-suited to guide the team.

Yamaha Motor Company General Manager Takahiro Sumi said, 'Both personally and on behalf of Yamaha, I would like to thank Lin for his dedication and achievements over the past 26 years. His commitment, diligence, and leadership have been instrumental in Yamaha’s success in MotoGP, and I am happy that we will still have access to his knowledge and experience going forward.
