The Gresini Ducati team unveiled its 2025 MotoGP livery at the iconic Imola circuit. This marks the fourth year of Gresini's journey as an independent team, following a successful partnership with Aprilia from 2015 to 2021. The Imola event revealed a fresh look for the team, featuring a redesigned livery with less red than the previous season. Gresini continues its collaboration with Ducati and will field a strong rider lineup, including Alex Marquez and rookie Fermin Aldeguer. After an impressive 2024 season, where Marquez won three Grand Prix races and finished third in the championship, Gresini is ready for another successful season in 2025.

Nadia Padovani, Team Owner Gresini Racing: 'We’re leaving behind a great 2024, and we embrace with great motivation a 2025 in which the expectations remain high. We have a team with plenty of experience, two very talent riders, and we’re eager to continue to surprise as we’ve done from 2022 until now… Fermin has just arrived, but he already found a place in our hearts, while I believe Alex can and must battle for the top five in each race weekend. We’re extremely happy with this new project and the bike has a special touch with a bit of chrome touch everywhere. We’re ready!'
MotoGP: Gresini Ducati's Riders
Alex Marquez has extended his contract with Gresini Racing MotoGP for two more years, keeping him with the team until 2026. This follows a strong 2024 season, where he finished eighth in the riders' standings and achieved a podium with his brother Marc at Sachsenring.
The Marquez brothers helped Gresini secure third place in the teams' championship, ahead of teams like VR46 Ducati and the factory squads of Aprilia and KTM. With Marc moving to the factory Ducati team, Gresini has brought in Fermin Aldeguer to fill the second seat. Aldeguer moves up to MotoGP after three successful seasons in Moto2.
Under Alex Marquez’s leadership, Gresini Racing aims to build on its success, support Aldeguer’s growth, and stay competitive in the MotoGP championship.
Alex Marquez said: I’m starting the third consecutive year with the team, and I must admit this winter was a very long one. The year finished on a high and it’s almost time to return to action. The new colours are incredible, and I hope everyone likes them. We’d love these colours to come with great results and from my side, I did everything I could this off season to be as physically and mentally prepared as possible for 2025.'

Fermin Aldeguer: 'It is a first for me on several levels, and my first team presentation as a MotoGP rider. The new livery of the bike is fantastic and very aggressive, and I think it reflects well the spirit of this team, who for many years have proven to be a great institution. The desire to take to the track is high, but this unveiling is already a big step forward towards this 2025 season.'
The Ducati factory team will launch its 2025 season on 20 January, in Italy with Marc Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia.
