Assen MotoGP: Defending MotoGP champion Francesco Bagnaia has been tested by Jorge Martin after the latter's impressive performance at the Sachsenring last week. Bagnaia of Factory Ducati is still in the lead, while Martin of Pramac Racing has closed the gap to just 16 points. Marco Bezzecchi, pilot of the Mooney VR46, will be looking to get back into championship contention with a strong showing this weekend at Assen. Even though he hurt his finger in the German Grand Prix, Honda rider Marc Marquez is going to race in the Assen MotoGP. The six-time premier class winner said in a statement that he is setting achievable goals for himself, which include gathering information for the team's engineers. Due to Assen's reputation as a circuit that rewards a combination of stability and pace, Marquez hopes to have a good weekend. However, there is hopeful news regarding Pol Espargaro, who could make an appearance in the Netherlands.

MotoGP: TT Circuit Assen
The first ever international motorcycle racing competition took place in the Netherlands in 1925. Despite being the longest-running event of its kind in MotoGPTM history, the 1949 season marked its official debut. Every year, thousands of enthusiastic fans gather to the TT Assen Circuit (also known as "The Cathedral of Speed") to cheer on their favourite riders and soak in the electric atmosphere that this race is renowned for. The track is located in the peaceful Dutch countryside not far from Amsterdam, and the atmosphere on race day is always exciting.
This weekend in Assen will host the eighth and final round of the 2023 MotoGP World Championship before the summer break.
The length of this historic track is 4.542km, and it has 18 corners. Riders should be at the top of their game while braking to prevent excessive wear on the tyres. The event, and the numerous excellent vantage points on the circuit, are sure to be spectacular.
