MotoGP German Grand Prix: MotoGP fans have no time to relax, as Round 7 of the 2023 Championship is just on the way. The Grand Prix Deutschland or more commonly known as the German Grand Prix is the second of three races this weekend, which will take place at the world-famous Sachsenring. Since 2010, Marc Marquez has never lost a race at the Sachsenring and he even won in 2021. Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) established a new all-rime circuit lap record last year, despite the high heat reducing grip. Fabio Quartararo of Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP won the 2022 race, beating off Johann Zarco of PR Racing and Jack Miller of Ducati Lenovo Team. Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) enters in Germany fresh from a disheartening front-end loss at Mugello, despite having won 11 times at the circuit across all classes. Marc's Repsol Honda teammate and Mugello accident victim Joan Mir is skipping the German Grand Prix. Even though Pecco Bagnaia enters the 2023 German Grand Prix with a 21-point lead, his experience at the Sachsenring the year before was not entirely positive.

MotoGP: About Deutschland Grand Prix
The Sachsenring, located in Hohenstein-Ernstthal, Saxony, a region bordering the Czech Republic, is not only the shortest but also the slowest circuit of the season at a mere 3.671 km in length. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that it is run anticlockwise, with 10 curves to the left, three to the right, and a mere 700-metre straight. Riders would spend a lot of time at extreme lean angles and different speeds, therefore it stands to reason that this configuration will be hard on the left side of the tyres.
