MotoGP Bharat: In a much-anticipated announcement, FairStreet Sports, organisers of the Indian Grand Prix known as "MotoGP Bharat," said that the 2023 edition of the FIM World Championship Grand Prix (MotoGPTM) will be held in India. There will be a wide pricing range for entry to India's first MotoGP event, from as little as Rs 800 to as much as Rs 1.5 lakh. Fairstreet Sports, the organisers of India's top two-wheel racing championship, will shortly begin selling tickets for the event, which will take place at Greater Noida's Buddh International Circuit on September 22-24. BookMyShow, India's largest booking platform, has joined up with FairStreet Sports as the "official ticketing partner" for the first MotoGPTM Grand Prix, set to take place in India this year. India is poised to become one of the sport's most enthusiastic fan bases. After the Formula 1 Indian Grand Prix, this will be the largest racing event ever held in India. In 2011, when India hosted its first Formula 1 race, the lowest tickets were sold for Rs 1500, which was seen as a fantastic deal at the time.

MotoGP team completes BIC advance check
Dorna Sports, the global commercial rights holder for MotoGP, sent a 12-person team not long ago to India to investigate the Buddha International Circuit ahead of the maiden Indian Grand Prix in September. Norma Luna, Dorna's Events Director, led a team of MotoGP marketing and sponsorship specialists who met with all stakeholders involved in the next race in India from September 22-24 to assess progress towards the highly anticipated event. The team carefully evaluated the track to identify its technical qualities, as well as the broadcast setup facilities and other variables critical to putting on a high-quality presentation.

The 13th race on the calendar, India will feature 42 teams and 84 riders competing in MotoGP, Moto2, and Moto3 classes at the Buddh International Circuit.
Francesco Bagnaia of Ducati, Marc Marquez of Repsol Honda Team, Marco Bezzecchi of Mooney, Brad Binder and Jack Miller of Redbull, and Jorge Martin of Prima are just a few of the major names that will compete on Indian soil. Francesco Bagnaia is the reigning champion and currently leads the championship standings by one point.
