In the world of rallying, few names are as big as Lancia. With 10 constructors' titles, this Italian car maker is the most successful manufacturer in history's World Rally Championship (WRC). In an exciting new development, Lancia has announced its return to high-performance cars and rally racing with the introduction of the Ypsilon Rally 4 HF. It's a big deal in the brand's revival under the Stellantis group. As a manufacturer, Lancia last competed in the WRC in 1992, winning the manufacturers' title with Juha Kankkunen, Didier Auriol, and Andrea Aghini. The Ypsilon Rally 4 HF is set to compete in the Rally4 category, going head-to-head with rivals such as the Ford Fiesta Rally4, Opel Corsa Rally4, Renault Clio Rally4, Skoda Fabia R2, Peugeot 208 Rally4, and Kia Rio Rally4.

Lancia Ypsilon Rally 4 HF
The Lancia Ypsilon Rally 4 HF is powered by a 1.2-litre turbocharged 3-cylinder engine that delivers 212 hp. It has a front-wheel drive, a 5-speed mechanical transmission, and a mechanical limited-slip differential. This model is designed for rally enthusiasts and competitive drivers in the R4 class and two-wheel drive championships. Lancia, owned by Stellantis Group, joins the Rally4 category where Stellantis already has the Peugeot 208 Rally4 and Opel Corsa Rally4. Both cars share a platform and key components like the engine, gearbox, and suspension.
Lancia is renowned for the Delta and Delta Integrale, which helped Juha Kankkunen and Miki Biasion win four driver's titles between 1987 and 1991. The brand also won the WRC constructors' title in 1983 and with the Stratos from 1974 to 1976.
