Lamborghini has announced that their LMDh race car will make its debut at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed. The vehicle will participate in the Hypercar and GTP categories of the 2024 FIA World Endurance Championship as well as the Endurance Cup of the IMSA WeatherTech Sports Car Championship. It will compete in many endurance races, including the 24 Hours of Daytona, 12 Hours of Sebring, and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Next Thursday, July 13, the automobile will be unveiled to the public for the first time by the manufacturer. A hybrid-assisted twin-turbocharged V8 engine will power Lamborghini's new race car. This will be the first racing engine entirely designed by the automaker's Squadra Corse competition division, and it will be capable of producing the maximum allowable 671 horsepower in the LMDh class. Along with a Bosch motor generation and a battery pack from Williams Advanced Engineering, Lamborghini partnered with chassis provider Liger.

2023 Goodwood Festival Of Speed
Lamborghini's Goodwood booth will include more than just the racing car. In addition to the Urus Performante and Tecnica, the Italian automobile manufacturer will showcase the Huracan Tecnica, Revuelto, Huracan Sterrato, Urus Performante, Huracan ST0 and Huracan Tecnica. During the Festival of Speed, spectators may see the Revuelto and the Huracan Sterrato race up the renowned hill. The Revuelto is a hypercar with a hybrid V12 engine producing 1,001bhp. Along with the Sterrato, it should put on quite a display for the crowd at Goodwood.
In addition to its 602bhp and 1.7-inch raised suspension, the modified Huracan has a Rally Drive option. Other cars will also be having their world premiere at the Goodwood FoS. Mick Schumacher, Michael Schumacher's son and Mercedes reserve driver, will drive his father's Mercedes W02 from the 2011 season. On Sundays, the majority of people go to watch the renowned hill climb.
The Goodwood Motor Circuit will host a series of exciting events to commemorate its 75th anniversary and the festival's 30th year in 2023. The Festival of Speed will be held at Goodwood from Thursday, July 13, to Sunday, July 16, 2023. On Sundays, the majority of people go to watch the renowned hill climb. A hillclimb batch of vehicles spanning this whole period, from the Racing Years of the late '40s to the current day's supercars of the '21st century, will be present at Goodwood 75.

Le Mans 24 Hours
Ferrari's new 499P Le Mans Hypercar marked the company's comeback to the top tier category of enduring racing at the Circuit de la Sarthe, and the #51 crew took home the race's overall victory at the Le Man 2023. In the #8 Toyota GR010 HYBRID, Pier Guidi finished ahead of Sebastien Buemi, Brendon Hartley, and Ryo Hirakawa. The Cadillac V-Series won the bronze medal for third place.
In recent years, the LMDh formula has received a great deal of interest from several industrialists. With the introduction of the Porsche 963, the German automaker was one of the first to declare its intention to join. Rapidly joining the battle were Cadillacs, Acuras, and BMWs. Next year, BMW will ramp up its racing efforts and enter the prestigious World Endurance Championship (WEC).
In addition to the aforementioned manufacturers, Lamborghini and Alpine will join the LMDh formula in the next year. Lamborghini plans to compete in both the IMSA and the World Endurance Championship (WEC) beginning in 2024.
