Day 1 of Round 2 saw Nayan Chatterjee storm to the top of the charts of the Euro JK 18 race results. In the process he also clocked the quickest lap time at 1:00.514. Chatterjee also had a smooth run at the first race of the day with a lead of 4.831 seconds where Tharani made a few attempts to take him on but instead fell prey to his driver error resulting in falling behind but still finishing in second spot head of Brayan Perera.
Race 2 of Day for the Euro JK Cup though saw a few mid race incidents that rejigged the ranks. Manav Sharma sure had started at the front of the grid owing to reverse grid format. But a heated battle between him and Karthik Tharani saw him go off the track and retire from the race. And this gave enough time for Chatterjee to make a well paced attempt through the ranks to the front of the paying field. And in the process, he collected 16 championship points.
Second place on the podium was of course taken by Tharani followed by Brayan Perera and Ashwin Datta sharing third place. Moving down the midfield saw Sudarshan Rao Karwal was quite a few seconds behind the race leaders but lower down the order there was a closely matched battle of their with Manav Sharma, Nirmal Uma Shankar, Arya Singh and Mira Erda all within milliseconds of each other. All in all, the Euro JK Series was the quickest race of the day and featured some captivating action.
