JK Tyre has launched IndiKarting National Series, an base entry level karting championship, to make motorsports more affordable and accessible to young drivers.
The series will be organised by RR Motorsports Management which will run a full 5 round Calendar from April to June. Winners of the rounds get a sponsored drive in the National Rotax Max Karting Championship. The 5 rounds will be held in Pune, Goa, Vadodra, Ludhiana and NCR.
The JK Tyre Rotax Max National Karting Championship is the only national series of its kind in the country with Rotax 2-stroke karts. However, the IndiKarting series will feature 4-stroke karts making an even playing field for all competitors and is claimed to be the most affordable karting championship in the world.

The IndiKarting series series will comprise of 3 categories - Pro Cadet for racers aged 7-12 years, Pro Junior for racers aged 12-16 years and Pro Senior for racers above 16 years of age. Senior category winners will also get a change to drive for leading teams in the JK Tyre National Racing championships as well. In addition to the three Pro classes, there will be seven classes of support races that will further broaden the experience of the sport to the masses.
The series calendar is as follows:
Round 1 - Pune. April 23 & 24
Round 2 - Goa. April 30 & May 1
Round 3 - Vadodara. May 14 & 15
Round 4 - Ludhiana. May 28 & 29
Round 5 - Delhi. June 11 & 12
