India's motorsport scene has surged with the Indian Racing Festival (IRF). This event, featuring the Indian Racing League (IRL) and Formula 4 Indian Championship (F4IC), showcases speed and demonstrates India's growing presence in the global motorsport arena. Chennai's new FIA Grade 3 street circuit hosted the country's inaugural night race, a significant milestone. Meanwhile, the F4IC offers young Indian drivers a valuable opportunity to earn Super License points, a crucial step toward competing on the world stage. The increasing quality and opportunities for these young talents are fostering a more competitive and promising motorsport landscape in India, encouraging them to pursue international careers in series like F3 and F2.

During our conversation with Sanjay Sharma, Head of Corporate Communications & Motorsport at JK Tyres, he emphasized the importance of nurturing homegrown talent for the international stage. "Growing Indian talent has been our mission since day one," he said. "We’ve invested all our resources into promoting motorsport in India and supporting Indians in motorsport abroad. While our competitors focus on international events and sponsorships, JK Tyres has dedicated its efforts to building the sport within India. This commitment will continue."
