Nick Cassidy piloted Envision Racing to victory in the 16th round of the Hankook London E-Prix, held in very difficult, rainy conditions, despite many delays. His lights-to-flag victory gave Envision Racing their first Teams' World Championship. The weather during the London E-Prix was so bad that Race Control opted to add a precautionary lap with the Safety Car. A standing start was called off by Race Director Scot Elkins and the Safety Car was brought back into the pits at the conclusion of the third lap after being escorted back to the start/finish straight by Nick Cassidy. The Jaguar I-TYPE 6 driven by Envision Racing not only had the speed advantage but also seemed to be more efficient. That put Cassidy in second place overall among the Drivers. In the other Envision, Sebastien Buemi was able to pass Sam Bird and finish sixth, ensuring victory for Jaguar TCS Racing.

Between the leading trio and the bickering Buemi and Bird, Nissan's Norman Nato and DS PENKSE's departing champion Stoffel Vandoorne filled positions four through seven, while ABT CUPRA's Nico Mueller took eighth. Dan Ticktum, driving for NIO 333 on home territory, made an early pass on Edo Mortara of Maserati MSG Racing to sneak into the top 10 and finish ninth, ahead of Pascal Wehrlein of TAG Heuer Porsche.

Formula E London E-Prix: Jake Dennis Crowned Driver's World Champion
After finishing in second position in Round 15 of the ABB FIA Formula E season in London, Jake Dennis became the first British driver to win the ABB FIA Formula E world championship. Late in the race at London's ExCel, a series of crashes and red lights helped Dennis, a driver for Avalanche Andretti, immensely.
It didn't take long for the London E-Prix Round 15 to earn the moniker "the race that never seemed to end," with the E-Prix not getting back underway until 90 minutes after it had initially started. While the race director sorted out the order, the top three drivers went for an additional lap. Evans maintained his lead over Da Costa, Dennis, Buemi, and Nato as the dust cleared. After a crash on the previous turn, several of the drivers in the last two laps of the race raced without front wings.
Evans led till the last lap and won superbly, but the attention was on Dennis, the new Formula E Driver's World Champion. Da Costa received a significant penalty, which pushed the British driver into second position, ahead of Buemi in third.
