The second edition of Formula E will make its triumphant return to Hyderabad on February 10, 2024, so get ready for an exhilarating burst of racing excitement. During the month of February, there will be a dramatic transformation of the bustling streets of this metropolis into an exciting urban racecourse. To demonstrate sustainable speed and cutting-edge innovation, state-of-the-art electric vehicles will compete head-to-head in this arena. For the tenth season of Formula E, which features an amazing lineup of 16 rounds, the Federation Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) and Formula E have formally confirmed Hyderabad's presence on the calendar. An Indian driver, Jehan Daruvala, will join the grid for the first time in the 2024 season when he competes for Maserati MSG Racing with the Indian team Mahindra Racing in the all-electric single-seater championship. When the season begins in Mexico City and continues with an exciting doubleheader in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia, the third and last destination on the schedule will be in Hyderabad.
Daruvala expressed excitement about racing in front of his own crowd for the first time in an international series with the Maserati Formula E Team, said, "I’m delighted that the Indian E-Prix will be returning to Hyderabad for Season 10! It will be the first time in my racing career that I’ll be competing in front of a home crowd and I genuinely can’t wait. The Indian fans are so passionate and I really want to do my home nation proud."
