Jake Dennis, the current Formula E champion, has renewed his allegiance to the Andretti Global team by signing a multi-year extension. This agreement ensures his continued participation in the all-electric competition beyond 2025. The British driver, who won his first Formula E championship in July in his home country, was officially announced on Wednesday to have an extended deal with Andretti. His previous contract was scheduled to expire in 2024. Dennis, aged 28, demonstrated remarkable consistency throughout the 2022/23 season, achieving eleven podium places, which included winning the season-opening Mexico City E-Prix and the race in Rome, ultimately securing the championship.
Dennis and Andretti have been working together for three seasons, and this news confirms their cooperation. With two victories in his first Formula E season with the team (formerly the BMW factory entry in 2020–2021), Dennis finished third overall. Afterwards, he earned another victory in London, ultimately finishing the subsequent season in sixth place overall.
