Formula 1 is making its second appearance in the United States this year, with the action shifting from Miami in May to Austin, Texas, at the Circuit of the Americas for the 17th round of the season. After clinching the Drivers' Championship in Qatar at the last race, Max Verstappen enters this weekend as the reigning champion. Despite having a contract with Red Bull through the 2024 season, Sergio Perez is under increasing scrutiny after a disappointing performance in Qatar, when he retired from the Sprint and placed 10th in the Grand Prix. He's still 30 points ahead of Lewis Hamilton, who's looking to recover after crashing with Mercedes colleague George Russell. Mercedes is debuting a new car floor at Austin, but the team is not expecting big advances in their pursuit to overtake Red Bull in time for the 2024 season.
When it comes to the constructors' championship, Ferrari is only 28 points behind Mercedes, and McLaren is only 11 points behind Aston Martin for fourth position. Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris, who both finished on the podium in Qatar, are largely responsible for the change in the rankings. Daniel Ricciardo, who has missed the last five rounds due to a hand injury, will return to competition this weekend, and the F1 Sprint format will be used for the fourth time this season.

F1 United States Grand Prix 2023: Where to Watch in India
The forthcoming 2023 Formula 1 United States Grand Prix will offer live-streaming options on various international platforms. In countries where F1TV Pro is available, viewers will enjoy the convenience of watching the race from multiple camera angles, including an immersive perspective from within their favourite driver's cockpit. Additionally, they can access in-depth event statistics and a live feed directly from the race track.
Subscribers to SkySports will find similar content at their disposal. However, in certain countries such as the United Kingdom and India, traditional television broadcasting of Formula 1 has ceased. As a result, fans in these areas will need to subscribe to an online streaming service to access race coverage. To further enrich the viewing experience, the Formula 1 app provides precise timing data, making it easier to follow the race in real time.

F1 Qatar Grand Prix 2023: Interesting Facts About the Circuit of The Americas
The Circuit of The Americas in Austin will host the 2023 United States Grand Prix, a rigorous 56-lap race on a 5.513km course. In 2012, the United States Grand Prix returned to this track for the first time since the 2007 event in Indianapolis, marking Formula 1's return to the United States. Notably, Lewis Hamilton's last win with McLaren came at this event before he switched to Mercedes in 2013.
Turns 3 through 6 are reminiscent of Silverstone's Maggotts/Becketts or Suzuka's S Curves, both of which are high-speed sections of the circuit. On the other hand, Turns 12 through 15 mimics the stadium portion of the Hockenheim course.
Several tracks throughout the world have shown their adaptability by simultaneously staging Formula 1 (F1) and MotoGP competitions. Major examples are the Circuit of the Americas in the United States, the Red Bull Ring in Austria, the Red Bull Arena in Hungary, and the Buddh International Circuit in India.
