The 2025 Formula 1 season is bringing driver changes, and Alpine is scouting talent for their 2025 line-up. Mick Schumacher, son of the legendary Michael Schumacher, is a strong contender. After racing for Haas and serving as a reserve driver for Mercedes, he'll get a chance to drive an Alpine F1 car. Alpine isn't just considering Schumacher. Their reserve driver, Jack Doohan, son of motorcycle racing legend Mick Doohan, will also be on the track. Doohan recently impressed with a third-place finish in Formula 2. This test on July 3rd at Circuit Paul Ricard in France is a key opportunity for both drivers. Schumacher aims to use his experience and famous name, while Doohan looks to build on his rising success. The test results could significantly influence Alpine's driver choices for next season.
Alpine said: 'As part of our TPC (testing of previous cars) programme, we will test Reserve Driver Jack Doohan, in line with his 2024 schedule, as well as Mick Schumacher as part of his Alpine Endurance project next week at Circuit Paul Ricard. We look forward to continuing to use our Race Support Team and the A522 Formula 1 car during our TPC programme.'

F1: Other Potential Drivers
Alpine is actively looking for a new driver for 2025, as Esteban Ocon's departure leaves a seat open next to Pierre Gasly. They're eyeing Carlos Sainz from Ferrari, but Williams seems to be the favourite to sign him.
This situation puts Mick Schumacher in the spotlight. Despite a disappointing run with Haas, he has a chance to prove himself in an upcoming test with Alpine. A strong performance could make him a serious contender for the seat.
