Schumacher, who was sacked by Haas and is now without a racing seat, is diligently working towards securing one for next year while maintaining an optimistic outlook. Schumacher recently told a media outlet in Luxembourg that he is always prepared to race. He went on to say that he has been training diligently in the hopes of getting back into an F1 vehicle soon. He expects that something will happen soon. He further said that he would take up a seat with Williams if the opportunity presented itself.
Williams Racing is a Mercedes customer team, and hiring drivers from the engine supplier team is nothing uncommon. Williams has had a tough time keeping afloat following Logan Sargeant's several accidents and subsequent damage caused by the cost cap. If Williams chooses to release Logan Sargent, Mick Schumacher will be in an ideal position to take his place. Because of his popularity, Formula 1 fans everywhere are pushing for Schumacher to make a return.
